History
In the scenic surroundings with a wide view to Randers Intel you will find the family farm “ Vikjærsgården”, where the Frandsen Family has had its outcome for generations
It is where the present Frandsen Family runs a professional and modern Riding Centre, where the work with the horses is effective, meaningful and careful to get the optimal use of the potentials in horses and people.
The Stable
In Toerring Riding Centre it is of vital importance that the horses have optimal conditions under training and in the stables.
In the competition stable there are 50 horses from young horses to Grand Prix horses. The horses are trained by Torben Frandsen, junior in the family, is responsible for the training, riding himself and supported by a professional team. Torben is educated as professional trainer, and he has been an active competing rider - for several years member of the National team in both dressage and jumping. At the moment Torben is in the top 10 list. He also competes in World Cup and other International shows. 
Own Breeding
On the Family Farm we have a breeding section, where the Family through 20 years has raised a lot of good riding horses. 2005 a young stallion from own breeding is approved to Danish Warmblood stallion approval.
Education of riders
Through a professional and targeted programme we intend to educate the best riders in Denmark
And it is why Torben has trained more of his riders to make top results, for instance top places at European Championship for young riders.
Social responsibility
Toerring Riding Centre has more sections. One of them is the biggest riding school in Denmark with about 600 members, among them about 200 handicap riders. This Riding school has more than 40 training horses being ridden every day.
Beside this there is a special school and after-school recreation centre for children and young people with different kinds of social problems.
Another section is a course centre, with courses about teambuilding, management studies, and view of human nature. All these activities are run by Senior Frandsen’s - Else Marie and Vagn.
